An adult eligible for the income assistance program who has already entered the labour market or who is able to hold employment may, in certain situations set out in the Framework Policy, be found to have a temporarily limited capacity for employment.
The temporary limited capacity allowance is additional financial assistance over and above the basic benefit. It is provided to an independent adult, an adult family member or an adult with a spouse who is eligible for the 66/72 benefit.
