The following pathway is used if the request for a minor type change comes from the FNQSDO or the Joint Committee.
If for example the FNQSDO makes a request to change the terminology. This request will be sent to the Joint Committee, which is responsible for follow up; as part of the follow-up the request submitted must be validated, improved or rejected. Then there will be feedback to the FNQSDO, which is the body responsible to make the modifications, if required. It will then transmit the modifications to the relevant stakeholders; in this case the Band Councils and the Joint Committee.
The impetus for change cannot come from the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité Sociale (MESS). Rather, the changes made by the MESS are in fact processed by the FNQSDO, which is responsible for determining the nature of changes and applying the corresponding amendment. Given that the changes are processed by the FNQSDO, this organization is considered to be the source of the request.
This is in fact the shortest route through which information can be exchanged or the shortest route for interaction.
