Direct deposit is a method of automated payment for clients of the Framework Policy Income Security program.
This method of payment is also possible for the Band Councils that offer the service.
Participation by a client in direct deposit will be on a VOLUNTARY basis.
The same as for cheques, the client will receive a notice of deposit for each amount deposited Income Security in his or her bank or caisse account.
Employment assistance clients will also receive, in the course of regular monthly issuance, the claim booklet and monthly statement by mail with their notice of deposit. As for independent sheltered adults, sheltering facilities and regional branches, they will receive only a notice of deposit.
