In the TWO YEARS PRECEDING an application for assistance or the payment of benefits, adults must not have:
- WAIVED their rights;
- DISPOSED of property or a liquid asset without fair consideration;
- SQUANDERED their property or liquid assets, that is, wasted or spent them thoughtlessly,
SO AS TO:
- become eligible or make their family eligible for assistance
or
- be granted greater benefits than would otherwise have been granted to them.
