The cost of a SINGLE MOVE shall be reimbursed an adult who meets all of the following conditions:
- is from a single-parent family,
- is attending a college or university,
- is participating in a measure included in his or her action plan, and
- must move in order to pursue his or her education.
The cost of this move is reimbursed to a maximum of $500.
Transportation assistance for educational programs
Students may be eligible for transportation assistance within the framework of special allowances, as set out in Chapter 10. Single parent students are not only eligible for the $500 allowance.
Transportation assistance is granted based on the cheapest means of transportation (e.g. car pooling, public transportation, etc).
