- $55 per month for BREASTFEEDING a dependent child under 12 months of age.
The need must be demonstrated in the client's verbal statement in the progress notes as well as the child's birth certificate or proof of birth.
This benefit cannot be granted at the same time as the benefit for milk formulas except during the month in which there is a change in the diet.
Note: This special benefit is payable to mothers who are breastfeeding, even when the child is a dependent of the other parent who is eligible for the 66/72 benefit.
