Each student meeting the criteria is eligible for a monthly allowance of $264.75.
This allowance ceases to be granted the month following the month in which the child ceases to attend a general secondary level institution. In these cases, during the summer break period prior to a shift in the academic level, the adjustment for a child of full age at the general secondary level is granted up to the month of July.
The allowance ceases to be paid as of the month of AUGUST of the year in which the child enters a vocational training program at a secondary-level educational institution or a post-secondary educational institution.
