When a dependent child IS ADDED to the FAMILY, whether a NEWBORN or an ADOPTED child, the assistance is increased in the month in which the child is added to the family. It should be noted that the adjustments are modified because they are calculated on the basis of the order of a child and that order changes when a child is added.
The same is true for a child who RETURNS to the family after PLACEMENT in a rehabilitation centre or family-type resource (FOSTER FAMILY); the assistance granted to the family is modified on the basis of the applicable adjustments in the month the child returns to the family. These are exceptions to the rule of anteriority of the deficit.
