The adjustments for dependent children do not apply to an adult who is a minor sheltered with her dependent child or to an ineligible student’s spouse.
Each adjustment for a child and family supplement for a single-parent family is calculated in proportion to the number of remaining days in the month on the date of the application for last-resort financial assistance.
An adult whose spouse is eligible to the 66/72 benefit cannot apply for the single-parent family adjustment.
