A temporarily limited capacity for employment is recognized in the case of an adult who is in charge of a family-type resource (FOSTER HOME-FOSTER FAMILY) and who must perform actions as the person in charge of those who are placed there or required to live there.
However, an adult in charge of an intermediate resource should demonstrate that at least one of the individuals he or she is in charge of is losing his or her autonomy to be considered as having a temporary limited capacity for employment.
Both the applicant and the applicant's spouse can be considered to have a temporarily limited capacity for employment (TLCE) if the workload so warrants. A number of factors are to be considered in evaluating the workload of both adults in charge of a FOSTER HOME or a family-type resource (FOSTER HOME-FOSTER FAMILY), such as an Health or Social Services Centre attestation, the type and difficulty of the cases assigned, the age of the individuals placed, their degree of autonomy, etc.
