04.03.05 – TLCE – Age

A temporarily limited capacity allowance is added to the basic benefit when the adult is 58 years of age or older.

This allowance is paid when the adult applies for it OR when the adult does not contest the notice of decision issued the month before he/she reaches the age of 58.

ACQUIRED RIGHT

Acquired rights are granted to a single adult or family member who, as of June 30, 2013:

  • was 55 to 57 years of age;

    AND
  • was a recipient of a last resort financial assistance program.
