MISSION
The FNQSDO is committed to providing First Nations communities with the support they require to implement the income security regime and the Framework Policy in conformity with the inherent regulations, so that they can reach their respective goals and priorities.
MANDATE
The FNQSDO was granted a double mandate by the AFNQL Assembly of Chiefs regarding the orientations and the decisions required with respect to income security as well as the guidance needed to efficiently steer implementation of the Framework Policy. Its goal is to assist with the creation of an income security regime in accordance with the agreements and responsibilities that have been delegated.
